Abstract Endovascular treatment of the femoro-popliteal artery has recently become a valuable therapeutic option for popliteal arterial aneurysms. However, its efficacy remains controversial due to relatively high rate complications, such as stent occlusion result intra-stent thrombosis. The elucidation interplay among vessel geometrical features, local hemodynamics, and leg bending seems crucial understand onset progression To this aim, patient-specific computational fluid dynamic simulations were performed in order assess hemodynamics two patients endovascularly treated aneurysm by stent-grafts experiencing Both Newtonian non-Newtonian blood rheological models considered.
